THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND FOR COMING ALONG! WE’LL DO SOMETHING SIMILAR NEXT YEAR…
October 2nd, 7.30
See the first and best Frankenstein (dir James Whale, starring Boris Karloff) in the perfect setting, as we treat you to a macabre experience not to be missed! And IT’S FREE! Including refreshments!
Doors at the incredibly spooky Walcot Mortuary Chapel will open at 6.45. There will of course be prizes for the best fancy dress on the night.
We are very grateful to BANES for permitting the screening, and to Southwest Screen for funding it.
Tickets available from 08717 042061 or from the cinema box office from 1st September.
There will be a retiring collection for Love the Little.
The screening is the first in From Out of the Shadows, our Gothic season running from October until December, which will include a number of old favourites introduced by special guests, including, on October 9th, Dracula AD1972 introduced by film critic Kim Newman. For more information, visit www.picturehouses.co.uk from mid-September.
